Yesterday was my last day of work at Kids Republic (KR) cos it'll be closed down at the end of March. The thing i like abt working at KR is that there aren't as many customers as Precious Thots..in other words it's quite slack de..hehe..and it's really enjoyable to work wif the nice & friendly In-Charge..work is kinda flexible too..
kk..enuff of the rich-gan cheong mum..Abt 1hr before closing, a part-timer from Thottz came over to KR to chat wif my In-Charge..so i went over and worked at Thottz fer a while..that's wat i meant by flexible..sometimes they juz run here n there when they get bored:P Thottz was having 40% off on Coolmax & Coolcat apparels so i got myself a top.
Of the 3D in KR, i met an unforgettable customer today..haven seen one as tok gong as her..haha..She walked in wif her baby daughter in the pram and began touching the baby toys so "chor lor" that they nearly fell..nvm..den she saw the "toy-stuff" (dunno wat's that called) that can be placed on the pram..so she took it and kept asking us to take it out and fix it on the pram fer her before she even paid fer it lah..really a gan cheong spider sia..Lol! So she quickly paid fer it..after making the payment and fixing the "stuff", she saw the other toys. She tested and picked some of them as if she was going to play all of them wor..haha..after paying fer the toys, she again asked us to quickly remove the toys and threw all the toys into the pram fer her daughter to play..Erm..I know she's rich but..well..
Anyway here's wat was going thru my mind..The "stuff" already has 3 small "interactive toys" fer the baby to play wif. By buying more toys, wldn't it be too much fer the baby? Perhaps she shld juz settle wif the fixed pram toys first..By giving her child too many toys to play at once, won't her child grow up to be greedy and expect more things from her parents?? I'm really curious...hees..
Working in KR makes mi wonder how parents bring up their children..say..wat r the DOs and DON'Ts of raising a kid..hmm..Someday i shall read up on books abt Parenting fer i'm really eager to know wat's the best fer my child in future..which i still have a looonngg way to go leh..keke..
