It's now 9:45am SG Time and 8:45am at Bintan..how i wish i was still there..hees..FUN and i had a really great time at Bintan where we played as much as we can, eat and drink whatever we want..etc..we're simply living in an exciting world of our own! haha..So here's an update of our short holiday in Bintan-ClubMed!

Day 1

We set off at 0905 SG Time by ferry and reached Bintan Ferry terminal before we took a coach to ClubMed Resort. At ClubMed, we were warmly welcomed by the GOs (forgot its name) but they're just like Student Co-ordinators fer the freshmen during the orientation where they will bring u ard and other stuffs. The GOs are of different nationality. One of which is FUN's cousin, Mandy, who's from HK and is a yoga instructor at ClubMed. After checking into our room, we unpacked our luggages and quickly went to try out the activities!

First on our list was the beautiful beach where the clear seawater and sand wowed us! The sand there is really smooth as compared to the coarsed/rough sand in Sentosa..and the seawater is really clean and clear..that's something i won't get to see in Spore..haha..

Next, we went kayaking and made a booking fer 4pm's sailing session with one of the GO who is so tanned that we thot he was a Malay until he told us he's a Taiwanese! Hehe..Kayaking was enjoyable thou our arms were quite tired..After Kayaking, we played in the sea as the waves crashed on our backs and into our faces! The feeling was superb except fer the fact that the seawater went into our mouths too..LOL! It tasted really salty..salty enough to replace the soya sauce fer cooking:P Now that our bodies were "sticky", we got back into our rooms to take a bath before going fer our lunch..that's when FUN and I changed our minds abt going sailing again in the afternoon cos we're too lazy to bathe again..hence we cancelled it..keke..

Lunch was a sumptuous one wif buffet and desserts..we had at least 2 servings before going fer desserts! Kinda sinful but i can go on diet when i get back to Spore..bleh..so in the meantime..EAT FIRST, WORRY LATER! Muahaha! Lotsa food and undescribable..so i shall let the pics do the talking! *Winks*

After lunch, we went to play table-tennis and walk on the beach again while waiting fer Archery fer adults at 4pm. Luckily there weren't alot of ppl doing Archery..this meant Fun and I can play fer as much as we want! haha..i took the lightest bow yet it was still heavy fer my hands and they got tired in no time..fer most of the shots, my arrows flew above the target board cos i held the bow too high le..haha..still i continued trying and we even took part in a tournament..the best of all, Fun and i got a silver and bronze medal respectively fer the Womens group..hmm..impressive huh..haha..well..that's what u can get too when there's only 3 ladies in the tournament! LOL!

After archery, we went fer a short game of tennis..We played fer only 30mins but we were already perspiring like no one's biz! Haha..Hopefully all the running and retrieving of tennis balls will help to shed the fats that we've gotten from the sinful lunch we took earlier =x Afterwhich we went to bathe again and went fer another sinful dinner! After dinner, Fun and i went to play table-tennis again while waiting fer the nite programmes performed by the GOs. It was very entertaining with the dances and magic shows..Here's a short part where Fun recorded Mandy and the Jap GO (in purple) dancing:) It takes a while to buffer so be patient wor~

After the performance we went to the bar to have our drinks..Fun had Cosmopolitan while i had Blue Hawaii which was quite eeeww cos it tasted like medicine despite it tastes sweeter than Cosmopolitan..Not long, we went back to our rooms and had a shower before turning in..

Day 2

We woke up early and met Mandy fer breakfast cos she had her off-day..After breakfast, we went fer sailing but apparently there was no much wind in the morning so we went fer kayaking again..this time, a bunch of seaweed got caught under our kayak and resulted in us getting stuck in the middle of the sea..we tried to paddle backwards but don't know y we ended up moving forward and further away from the shore..it's was really scary! Fortunately, Fun managed to remove it and we quickly paddled back to the shore..Phew~Mandy came later and brought us to the side of the shore where the big rocks were and there were pretty fishes swimming ard it..Mandy took some bread and we fed the fishes..it was delighting:)

Having been on the beach fer nearly 2hrs, we proceeded to the pool to attend the Water Aerobics lesson! It's my 1st time and Fun and I had FUN time doing those moves in the water..we looked funny doing that too..wahaha..i'll update the pics when mandy send them to us:P Before we go fer lunch, we got back to take a bath and to find out that we were burnt! Luckily Fun's burnt subsided on wed but my shoulders are still red till today and my skin's peeling off..that's how hot the sun was on tues and we were under the sun fer abt 2-3hrs?! =x

Lunch was another sumptuous one too and this time we had too full that when we lie on our comfy beds to watch tv, we ended up taking a nap fer 1 hr! OMG! EAT + SLEEP = FAT!! Haha..We quickly woke up and Fun suggested to try the TRAPEZE! My nitemare! i was so nervous lah..was standing up high and wanted to jump off the board but my legs just wldn't move! the moment my legs got off the board, i held onto the bar and flew into the sky! It was...Woohoo....EXHILARATING! i was supposed to lift my legs up and hook them onto the bar but i got carried away in the air hence i couldn't do it on time..hehe..Fun even video of mi doing it..so embarrassed lah..so i won't be posting that video..hees..and i didn't try it again cos i was too scared to do so..if u're interested in watching mi doing the Trapeze, visit Fun's blog @ http://infinityfun.blogspot.com/ cos she posted it! After Trapeze, we went fer dinner at Bintan Lagoon by cab wif Mandy and another Korean GO. The jap food was okok but by the time we finish, we were dam full liao..haha..so we took a walk and shopped fer nearly an hr at the souvenier shop while waiting fer our cab..this time the cab was as big as a mini excursion bus which can sit abt 10 ppl and they call it a cab over there?! Lol!

Once we reached ClubMed, we catched another of their performance and chill out a their Bagus bar wanting to take a look at their casino activities..Unfortunately it ended..so we order white wine and were entertained by our "sister from another mother" (that's what he said, rite Fun?)..LOL! He's actually one of the GOs called Anthony whom Fun & i are still not sure which country he came from. He speaks fluent japanese but he told us he's an Indo-Chinese..Hmm..he better not let mi find out his real nationality fer i'll BOX him out of shape when i see him again in ClubMed! Wahaha! We had a great time chatting with him in the midnite..seems like we've got lots to chat abt and during the whole conversation we can't stop laughing at his jokes and his wittiness! Esp one where he mentioned abt my braces and asked how much it was..i told him it's abt S$4000..when he calculated that it's abt 24m Rupiah, he was like stunned and said my mouth alone is worth 24m Rupiah..LOL! He's indeed a great entertainer! (^v^)

Day 3

As usual we went fer breakfast and attended Mandy's Yoga lesson since we've not tried yoga before and i quite like it..esp the last part where we lie on the ground with the yoga music and Mandy did some stretching fer us..i nearly went into my LaLa Land cos it was so relaxing..haha..

Afterwhich we went back to packing and learnt abt some unpleasant stuff..luckily it's over and kinda sorry to trouble Mandy..

Conclusion

Woah..what a long blog! So in short, our holiday in ClubMed Bintan was enjoyable and fun! i've tried activities that i've not tried before and it's a wonderful experience! The GOs there are super friendly too..made us really feel like home..talking abt the GOs, most of them thot Fun and i were Taiwanese and some (including Anthony) thot we were sisters cos from far we look alike..haas..Anyway ClubMed Bintan is a good choice fer recreation and relaxation..i'll be back! Hope next time there will be more hunks other than the Water Aerobics instructor and the cute Trapeze i/c at the top..hees..
